Feedback cell, 2019 was a participatory installation in a decommissioned prison cell at B-Wing exhibition, in Shepton Mallet Prison from 21 Sept - 6 Oct 2019.

This is a video of the Feedback cell on the final day of the exhibition, Day 16.

Visitors were invited to write what they thought about the exhibition on a label and tie it to an installation of black netting, with some strips of cloth. It was on the second floor of the prison wing, and wasn't supervised, so it meant that visitors could write what they really thought. Over the 16 days of the exhibition, the space was transformed.

It was very lovely to read so many responses, ranging from 'thought provoking' to 'spooky'. There were some drawings too. Here are the labesl:

In addition to the Feedback cell we also had a more traditional visitors' book on the ground floor.
