IN.BRS.2019.39, Shadow sacks over dark pool was a collaboration with Scott Sandford. It consisted of three of my hand knitted and felted black Shadow sacks suspended with meat hooks and chains over a dark reflective pool constructed by Scott. Fluid dripped into the pool from two of the hanging sculptures, disrupting the refective surface. The astonishing, atmospheric setting amplified the mesmeric effects of the installation.

It was installed at B-Wing, a multi-disciplinary arts event involving 6 artists and 2 writers making site-responsive works leading to an exhibition and performances in the unique spaces of B-Wing at Shepton Mallet Prison during Somerset Art Weeks Festival, 21 September – 6 October 2019. The project was supported by Lottery funding from Arts Council England
